 There is nothing quite like seeing a living legend perform, as Rob Halford's fans can attest to after seeing him deliver a bombardment of metal on Wednesday night at the Ogden Theatre.
The lead singer of one of the most legendary heavy metal bands of all time, Judas Priest, is still rocking for adoring fans years after he peaked in his career. Many refer to Halford as the "Metal God" for his everlasting influence on heavy metal music. And the deity of shredding guitars, heart pounding drums, and wailing vocals didn't disappoint on Wednesday.
 Plenty of vintage metal shirts were on display at the Ogden Theatre, as both young and old came to pay tribute to the vintage English lord of rock.
As one would expect, the show opener would have to be someone who could fill the shoes of starting a show for the "Metal God," which was easily satisfied by the band PHILM which featured the legendary band Slayer's own drummer Dave Lombardo. The band's sound was different at times, and on other occasions, very classic heavy metal that complimented the vibe of the evening.
Halford followed, taking the stage in black leather pants, a stud-covered leather jacket, and aviator sunglasses, which as any true fan knows, is his trademark look. The rock legend played songs from his latest release 'Halford IV - Made of Metal,' and, of course, played a few Judas Priest songs, as most fans were most likely anticipating.
