LIVE INSURRECTION OR UNLEASHED IN THE EAST ?
 

WHICH IS A BETTER LIVE ALBUM ?, I'M GONNA SAY "LIVE INSURRECTION" ALL THE WAY, NOT A BAD SONG ON THE WHOLE ALBUM ............ :godrock: :jamming:

I'll choose LI, its a very complete live album covering all the Halford career and sounds amazing!:godrock:

With LI containing material from JP, Halford, Fight and unreleased stuff, it's just the best metal album out there, live or studio...I'll take it over Unleashed any day. Of course I’m not saying that Unleashed isn’t a great album. It captured some classic songs back when Halford and the band were still in their twenties. Both are must-haves.

Insurrection is definitely heavier, has huge variety of songs, has much better recording quality than any live Priest material except bonus dvd of AOR

Why is this even an issue? Insurrection is a good maybee even great Live album... Unleashed in The East Is One of the greatest live albums od all time by any artist.

I wouldn't call LI a "classic" yet. UITE is a bonifide "classic" though :fist:

That isn't taking anything away from LI at all and it's ALWAYS great to get a live recording from Rob/Priest but IMO UITE wins it.

IT kicks ass from start to finish and when i first heard it as well as today, it still blows me away :metal:

I would have LOVED to be there for that show!

There's nothing that beats the original Unleashed in the East. Each song is perfection, and the flow of the whole album is just exceptional. Perhaps not only the best Priest live album, but the also the best Priest album altogether, and maybe even the best album by anyone, period. :metal:
