The clips from St. Anger I heard weren't too bad; at least they were better than the God-awful shit from "Load," but then again, that's not saying much.
Oh, and Sabbath have reduced themselves to Vegas lounge lizards.
Load had shitty songs yes. However, Load and Reload were produced better than St. Anger. I'd rather listen to Load over St. Anger any day.
Did you guys not get the 20 minute long Dirty Women?
PREDICTABLE SETLIST?! You hippocrites! Priest has had the same fucking setlist for damn near 2o years...do they not still kick ass? (insert appropriate smilie here)
Well at least Priest threw in a few new tunes to change things up abit. Hehehehehehe and I knew you were going to say that about the Priest setlist. And no we don't get the 20 minute Dirty Women jam.

Saw Metallica in 91 at the NEC (ENGLAND).
They where shite, one of the biggest letdowns Ive ever seen.
They had no support band just camera`s in the dressing room, showing them swearing alot!!
Their performance was totally self indulgant and boring. All 3 hours of it.
From that moment on,I started to lose interest in a band I use to love.
Shit happens.
Your memory seems to be as shite as their performance. It was in 1992 and and cameras only showed a few minutes of them in dressing room, the movie they showed was the main part!

Yeah ,your right it could have been 92,but they where still shite.
If it had been any good I might have remembered the year.

I have audio bootlegs of both Birmingham 1992 (4th November and 5th November) shows and both kick ass. In first one they even open with Wherever I May Roam which was not usually played first and the later one includes quest appearance from all four Diamond Head members who joins Tallica on stage and plays Helpless and Am I Evil is that cool or what?.

It was Nov 4th 1992.
Listen, they sounded good and played well but...........
it was very boring.
Lars had this set up where his drums would appear at different parts of the stage, very spinal tap,and there where more than a couple of solo spots, that just dragged for me.
Out of the 3 of us my one mate loved it but 2 of us thought it was boring.
Only my opinion of course.
Metallica used to be a great band,I just think they have lost that magic that they used to have.
For the record...Ride The Lightning has always been my fav, followed closely by Master Of Puppets.Always liked Justice as well.
I actually like the `dry`sound of that album.
Metallica hasn't been worth shit for awhile now, but somewhere deep down I still hope that they might fake everyone out and make a fuckin' killer album. Someday maybe.
Dave Mustaine should put Megadeth on hold and rejoin Metallica (where he should have been. I wouldnt care if Metallica booted Hammett. Then boot the new bassist and get a Cliff look alike, and start a reunion tour. Also record an album similar to Master of Puppets.
Why don't you guys just admit to yourselves that metallica is dead. Any attempt at their old sound would be weak and stupid. They can't do it. James has a new voice and kirk is running out of solo ideas. Fuck em. Why listen to metallica when you can listen to testament?
