PAT LACHMAN has a new band now!!!
Former DAMAGEPLAN vocalist Patrick Lachman (ex-HALFORD, DIESEL MACHINE) is preparing to launch a new project in the coming weeks, BLABBERMOUTH.NET can exclusively reveal. The as-yet-unnamed band is rumored to involve notable San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles musicians. Lachman describes the material as, "heavy but also very melodic, with the focus being on good songwriting. It's a definite left turn and I think it's going to surprise a lot of people." The group have reportedly written and recorded nearly 20 songs and are preparing to shop for a major label record deal. Plans to launch an official web site are underway as well. More information will be made available soon..I will let yah know more as I find out.

I'm glad Pat is getting on with his life musically as he has alot to offer all of us Metalheads but he really needs to stick to doing what he does best..............play guitar

I, personally think he isn't much of a vocalist though.

I'm looking forward to hearing what Pat comes up with.

Can't say I was ever a huge Pat Lachman fan. In Halford I was more impressed by Metal Mike and I only really listened to Damageplan for Dime and Vinnie.

I will say one thing for Pat, though... he sure has managed to work with some of the best in the business.

I actually thought Pat was a better player than Mike. His playing was much more fluid. He had the Tipton shit down pretty darn good. I wasn't impressed with him as a singer on the Damageplan stuff and didn't like the music much either. I'm curious to see what he comes up with next and god bless him for continuing in the music biz. I would have probably called it quits after December 8th.

They definately complimented eachother. I just like Mike a bit more.
