A cool article is posted on Metal Sludge about Robin Crosby
It's written by some guy who became good friends with him the late 90's and remained friends with him until he died.
Man it really makes the last few years of his life seem sad. I don't think it mentions in the article, but I can't remember, did he die of an OD or from AIDS?

He struggled so hard, got his shit together, and besides alcohol was away from drugs. They didn't want him for the reunion because he was too fat and still using. What a load, if he was using sure, I can understand, but I don't see how his weight affected his playing.

I could believe that they were concerned about their image, more so then the music.
It's bullshit, but it's the business.

The thing is though, it's not like they were glamming it up. They kicked ass and were in street clothes and considering the circumstance that Robbin was going through I think people could understand his weight situation.
But like you said, it's the business. Live by the image, die by the image.
