Welcome to the magical world of Ronnie James Dio singing for Black Sabbath. Everything he's done with them has been great. Give yourself a treat and get the rest if you haven't aleady.

On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd rate it a 5 with Heaven & Hell a 10 & Mob Rules an 8.

I've been on the look out for Heavan an Hell and Mob Rules to pop up at the used cd store around here. Somehow Dehumanizer popped up first. Really glad I got it. $9 and probably the only time I'll see it around here without ordering it. Most people around here think that Ozzy is the only lead singer of Sabbath.

Same here, they call themselves "hardcore fans" yet have no idea who Dio or Gillan are. It's a sad, sad thing.

Gillan I can be ok without, but Dio Sabbath is just brilliant. W/O Dio do any of you really think that Sabbath would still be around today?

I doubt it. Dio-era Sabbath is easily my favorite.

We have a lot to thank Mr Dio for, and more importantly, Mr Blackmore. Thank you Mr Blackmore for the blessing of the two Ds-Donington rock Festival and Ronnie James DIO.

I actually just bought a Live DVD from this tour. Pro Shot quality very very nice.
One of my favorite albums of all time.

Computer God, Master of Insanity, After all... Christ the whole album is awesome.

I actually have the Re-incarnation CD set too full of rehearals bsides and demos from these recording sessions.. Nothing I'd recommend spending big bucks on.. but definately interesting to hear from a fan perspective.

I just bought 3, 90 minute audio tapes to get some decent music into my 'new' 1978 model car, which of course doesn't have a CD player....

500 CD's and three tapes? Guess what went on one of those tapes, THIS ALBUM! (With 'Dream Evil' on the other side!)

'Buried Alive' is the only filler track, the rest of the album is brilliant, 'I' is probably my favourite.

Peace, Glen.

Man I really enjoy Buried Alive and all of the tracks on this CD.
The lyrics on this disc are just phenominal.

"I am wicked, I am legion, Strength in numbers.. a lie.. the number is 1"

"You're the only witness to the murder of an angel. How much longer are you going to pay.. for yesturdays sins of the father.."

"Deliver us from evil, Deny us of our faith. Robotic hearts bleed poison in this world we populate. Virtual existance with a superhuman mind. The ultimate creation destroyer of mankind. Termination of our youth but we cannot compute"

"Once upon a nightmare, once upon a time you were running from temptation you got lost and found that you don't belong to anybody. You're all the same.. just another number cross it out whenever you don't behave"

(not trying to plug my own stuff here) but if you read my lyrics you'll see a HUGE dehumanizer influence.. I love that era of Dio

The song "I" was very remenicent of the song "The Shed/Subtil" from a Rainbow album. Even the vocas are similar.. if you loved "I" and you haven't heard "The Shed" you should check it out.

anyone heard the b-side track from this album yet "Bad Blood"
If not I can see about putting it up somewhere for you guys to check out..
It's clearly a rehearsal demo but it's a complete song.. good stuff..

I've actually got a ton of Dehumanizer demos I could throw out there for you guys.. I've got the "Letters from Earth" demo which was completely rearranged and included a slow part.. and a different Master of Insanity..

Maybe sometime this week I'll find the cds and encode em for you fans of the dehumanizer album
