Vinny Appice anyone? Would have been a good choice for Priest?

Well, not talking of the current era or the 'Painkiller' era but i believe that Vinny's drumming would have been great on albums like 'Defenders of the Faith', 'Screaming for Vengeance' or 'British Steel'. It's true that he doesn't play double kick but he' s rude and thunderous enough for those 80's Priest albums.
