Blogging with the Q

Hey everyone you should all be ready for the new JP release and tour by now, right? We have been in rehearsals for a couple weeks and can't wait to get started 2 June.

After rehearsals this past week I spoke with press in Australia getting the word out on the release of Nostradamus and tour plans. Thanks to everyone down under, I'm looking forward to seeing you soon.

We had a great time at the U.S. in-stores a couple weeks ago. The Q was well represented, thank you for the great support. I'm very excited about our dates with Heaven and Hell, Motorhead and Testament this summer.
Everyone got tickets???

Metal God Entertainment is releasing Fight's new title 'Into The Pit.' We have put together fantastic box sets and digital products, and we have a couple freebies coming your way. More details 28 May at www.RobHalford.com.

Have a great time with the new releases. Also, post a few questions in this thread and I will try and find time to answer some. I'll catch up with everyone early June.

Love to all,

Rob

Ooh first question haha,

Rob,
You think you guys might get to Newcastle again in the UK?
I might get to Download but wouldn't mind an indoor reminder of the 2005 best night of my life.
I'm sure you would appreciate how special it is for me that I have a half decent bootleg from that show thanks to a guy on this quorum. Sent it across the world to me.

The new songs are terrific segue to what I will get my hands on next month!!

Paul

Rob,
first off, let me say WOW.

The new JP track VISIONS (which is already on youtube), was simply amazing the first time I heard it, and still gives me the goose bumps!
Excellent track!
I can't wait to pick up the new CD.

FIRST QUESTION:
1. I would like to make a request for the new tour.
If you could please play anything off of the SIN AFTER SIN album.... you could make me a very, very happy man.
I was thinking of maybe the SINNER! or maybe even dig a little deeper and bring out RAW DEAL!!!!

2. Is about the VIP tickets....
I see that there is a little * there... about not every JP member being present during these.
I was wondering if YOU intend to be present at the HOLMDEL, NJ meet and greet?
I would just like to shake your hand.
It has actually been my goal iin life to do this. Sounds very wierd, but true.

....a little history, but here goes...
First time I heard Priest was at the age of 7 years old (year was 1988).
I steadily got into the band, and discovered the past catalogs of albums... and was simply BLOWN AWAY.
To this day, I am simply blown away... if you can believe.

Priest music has been with me in my life thru soooo many times, the GOOD, BAD, UGLY and UNBELIEVABLE of times.

But to sum it up,
It would bring me full circle, if I were to shake the hand of one of the men who brought me this magical music!
Especially the lead vocalist who BELTED out my favorite album of ALL TIME: (SIN AFTER SIN).

Keep the faith Rob, I am living proof that it pays to do so.
TONY Z.

Rob- Always good to see you drop in and say hi. Like the rest of the masses I am looking forward to the summer tour and then the return trip when you guys tear it up with Nostradamus, that will be an epic show, one NOT to miss.
2 questions for you.

1)Is the PRIEST camp planning on following your lead for future releases on DVD? Specifically when the Nostradamus tour hits the road. MGE is starting to set the standard in regards to the fan base requests and we have so few official PRIEST releases available. Not capturing this event for a future release would be a shame.

2) Can you confirm or deny the rumor about vouchers for a free ticket to the up coming US tour being included in the new release?

See you on the road-

thug
